Abstract
The author replies to Bhatt and Tonks' concerns about the future of the undergraduate course in the history of psychology by recounting anecdotal evidence from her experience teaching the course. She disagrees with Bhatt and Tonks that critical history sounds a death knell for pedagogy, or for public relations. She expresses concern over the dearth of career positions for historians, and suggests both top-down and bottom-up strategies to address this problem.
